This article explains how time is money and where we take it for granted, how we can improve our life by using it effectively.

The biggest mistake is you think time is free, but it’s priceless you can’t own it, but you can use it you can’t keep it, but you can spend it and once it’s lost you can never get it back. Time is actual money, it is irreplaceable.

One of the very important question is, what is the highest and best use of your time?

We all have 24 hours in a day. Lets say you own a care selling business, then difference between someone that sells 3 cars a month or 10 cars a month or a 130 cars a year is usage of time. We all have the same 24 hours. How you use your time is the biggest degree of separation between ordinary people and successful achievers.

If you Look at your life as a movie, only then you would be able to know that how to spend it well.

The average person lives 79 years.

We spend twenty eight point three years of our lives sleeping as a result, almost a third of our life, but thirty percent of us struggle to sleep well.

We spend ten point five years of our life working but over 50 percent of us want to leave our current jobs.

We spend 10 years on TV and social media, six years doing chores, four years eating and drinking, three and a half years in education, two and a half years grooming , two and a half years shopping, one and a half years in childcare, and three years commuting that leaves us with nine years.

How will we spend that time, as Steve Jobs said your time is limited so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.

Time is more valuable than money . Hence, you can get more money but you can never get more time

There’s good news and there’s bad news the bad news is time flies the good news is you’re the pilot. Imagine you wake up every day with 86400 pounds in your bank account and at the end of the night it’s all gone whether you spend it or not.Similarly, the next day you get another eighty-six thousand four hundred pounds, what would we do with it every day 86,400 seconds are deposited into your life account at the end of the day. Once they’re all used up you get a new 86,400 seconds.

time is money

We would never waste it, if it was money so why do we waste it when it comes to time those seconds are so much more powerful than pounds because you can always make more pounds.

You can’t always make more time.

To know the value of one year ask a student who failed a grade.

To know the value of one month ask a mother who lost their child in the final month.

To know the value of one week ask the editor of an online magazine.

To know the value of one hour ask the couple who’s in a long-distance relationship.

To know the value of one minute ask the person who just missed a bus train or plane

To know the value of one second ask the person he just missed an accident.

To know the value of a mili second ask the person who just came second at the Olympics.

If you look in the 8-12 weeks, you will find out that we do things that are fun doing things. But at the end of the day you will realize, you had too many time traps too many time wasters.

Things that appeared to be important in the moment, but when you reflect on them in the context of what is the highest the best use of my time what are my priorities they became just time suckers.

They just became busy work that felt good in the moment but only doesn’t move the needle you know what I’m talking about.

You can be busy it’s like the rocking chair syndrome, too many people are in a rocking chair and people think they are moving but you are not going anywhere.

You’re just like in a rocking chair going back and forth we need to be like in action moving towards the accomplishment of our goals. Anything you’re doing that isn’t leading you towards the accomplishment of your goals is a time trap.

Get a notepad or open your computer and recall all the activities you did in last 8-12 weeks.

List them all, even list if you went out for drinks with your friends for a while.

Now only highlight those activities which are directly related to your objective.

In all honesty you clearly know, where did all your time go.

Time spent on other activities then your objective divides your attention and ultimately you lose your focus.

Are you spending your 24 hours every single day doing what matters most?

Only doing what matters most what are the 4 to 5 most important priorities if you really thought about it.

What are the 4 to 5 most important priorities you already know the answers.

Eliminate what or who are your time traps. where do you get stuck, who gets you stuck, where do you get stuck what gets you derailed. It’s super important.

What gets in our way what holds us back maybe it is you spend too much time on social media, maybe it’s the fact that you don’t type fast so as you’re typing it just takes you forever maybe you’re not proficient at something and you’re trying to do it anyway versus delegating it or outsourcing it and that’s probably the biggest one

Analyzed your time versus your priorities so if you can imagine.

We think that it’s people wasting our time but it’s really us giving them the permission to do that.

Don’t let someone be a priority when all you are to them is an auction. Some of us lose the people most important to us because we don’t value their time some of us don’t recognize how important someone is to us until they’re gone.

Inside all of us are two voices one voice that wants to uplift, one voice that wants us to expand, one voice that wants us to grow and then there’s the other voice. The voice that holds us back. The voice that makes us lazy the voice that makes us complacent the voice that restricts us from our potential every day from the moment we wake up to the moment we go to sleep inside of us.

There’s this battle between the two voices and guess which one wins the one that we listen to the one that will feed the one that we amplify. It is our choice of how we use our time life and time is the best to teachers life teaches us to make good use of time and time teaches us the value of life.

As William Shakespeare said time is very slow for those who want very fast, for those who are scared very long, for those who are sad very short for those who celebrate, but for those who love time is eternal.

Time isn’t the main thing. It’s the only thing, Miles Davis.

Times is money, but no money can return your time. Unknown.

Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money, but you cannot get more time. Jim Rohan.

They say time is money, i disagree time is life. Spend yours wisely. Scott A. miller
